Run College Park is a part of Run Your City, a non-profit focused on creating an inclusive community through running. Our mission is to help children build confidence, develop healthy habits, and feel inspired. As student-athletes at the University of Maryland we aim to ensure sports are accessible to all kids, regardless of socioeconomic status or ability. Our chapter has been around for 6 seasons and we are excited to get started this Fall 2026! We can’t wait to see you there!

Hi! My name is Kaila and I love running distance, enjoying the outdoors, and pretty much anything that gets me moving, laughing, or exploring something new!! This is my third season with RYC, and I am SUPER excited to kick off another season this Fall! Looking forward to meeting you all:)

Hi! My name is Reese, and I’m so excited to be joining RYC for my first year! I’ve always loved working with children, and as someone who loves running, I’m thrilled to combine both of those passions through this program. I’m looking forward to getting to know the kids, encouraging them to stay active, and helping make running a fun and positive experience. I can’t wait for a great season with RYC!

Hi! My name is Cayden and I run long distance and steeplechase at UMD. I have volunteered with Run Your City for the past three seasons and love interacting with the kids and seeing them fall in love with running! Outside of track and school, I love to ski, hike, read, and spend time with friends.

Hey! I’m Katie and I’m a member of the cross country and track & field team at UMD. I volunteered for RYC last year and I’m so excited to do it again as I love sharing my excitement for running with the younger kids. Beyond running, I like to go to the beach, spend time with family, and explore the outdoors. I can’t wait to get the season started!
