RYCxHouston is a Run Your City non-profit branch in the Rice University/Houston area. Our program aims to connect Rice student-athletes with kids of any background, and facilitate community engagement through the sport of running. Practice sessions hosted by our student-athletes are completely free and open to anybody who's interested. If you're a parent who wants to sign up your child/children, click the Red "Kids Sign-Up" button! Feel free to come to as many sessions as you can make. Hi! My name is Alexandra Gobran, and I am a student-athlete studying Biology and Sports Medicine. I compete in cross country and track, where I run the 5K and 10K, and I’m excited to be a new LT member. Outside of school and training, I love being outdoors, trying new foods, and traveling with friends.

I primarily run distance including cross country, and for track typically the 3000m and 5000m events. Hey guys ! My name is Susie Nestor and I am exited to be a new Lt member. I’m an international graduate student here at Rice. I’m currently in the MGA program but hope to pursue a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics afterwards! My main running event is the 800m but I’m sure I’ll be mixing things up this season ! In my free time, I love to watch any murder mystery documentary out there (most definitely have watched them all already), as well as making time for reading.
